Today is the 30th of January and if my goal was to publish once a month both in English and French, I left it a bit tight. In fact I have been busy writing a fair amount these last two months.
For a start, in December I wrapped up and published an online course / workshop to help people to transition into the new year in the best possible way. I had actually been working on the content on and off for three years and finally decided that 2024 was going to be the year. Because I seem to like making things complicated for myself even when they don’t need to be, I released the workshop both in English and in French. It’s probably one of my biggest achievements of the year and I also owe it to the two people (husband and girlfriend) who patiently proofread everything a thousand times and who have been amazing support throughout. If you know me personally even a tiny bit, you know that I am not the type to self-congratulate and I often forget to celebrate, but I am super happy about that one, it’s brilliant. So if you want to have a look, all the details are here and you can of course ask me directly if you have any questions.
Because I walk the talk as much as I can, as I was finishing writing the course, which is in essence my own process to transition from one year to the next, I followed to the dot my own exercises and advice. So for the fifth year in a row, I published my annual review: 2024 edition. I even put some little extras in there for fun by sharing a Spotify and a YouTube playlists. If you want to know why I do the Annual Review, well, it’s in the course with plenty more.
In December, following the launch of the course, I contacted the Health & Wellbeing Magazine for which I had written an article when I signed up for my European insurance a few years back. Long story short, they gave me the opportunity to publish a piece in relation to the course and subsequently asked me to become a monthly contributor, starting this January. I particularly like my latest article which is about being a trustworthy person, or not.
Last but certainly not the least, in December I enrolled in a Diploma course in Logotherapy and Existential Analysis. I have just completed the first module requiring five writing assignments. Besides the fact that I absolutely love what I am studying, this also explains why I have been a bit quieter here on Substack.
On a fun side note, a series of events piqued my interest and led me to look into the “Tarot de Marseille” along with the French book “Les Codes Secrets du Tarot - Tome 1” by Philippe Camoin. I knew about tarot but up to this encounter, I had never been drawn to it nor to any teachers. Camoin’s book and his method are like a revelation. At this point I am just studying (clearly the flavour of the month) and it’s a delight.
We’ve officially entered 2025 yesterday with the Lunar New Year and I must admit that the shift in energy is palpable. This article being my first of 2025, I wish you a wonderful and joyful year, filled with meaning and lots of love.
